The Humboldt Labor of the Humboldt-Universität inaugural exhibition “After Nature” is spread over two rooms on the first floor of the Humboldt Forum.
The first room, the foyer becomes a spectacle of moving swarm images projected on a sensuous, circular shaped, translucent curtain. The main hall is essentially a productive, performative and active, backstage space. The scientific objects exhibited in this section are presented hanging with a hoist mechanism taken from the mass media industry that allows for views from below or above to be just as exciting as the one we consider to be a ‘museum view’.
